Tri-Mor Alcoat
Tri-Mor Alpatch is a high alumina repair material installed by hand or grouting. It has excellent resistance to molten aluminium and is designed for repairing cracks and worn surfaces of refractories in furnace hearths, ramps, sills and ladles. Tri-Mor Alpatch is supplied dry in 25kg multi-ply bags. It must be mixed in a small paddle mixer or Hobart type with 8.5% water for 4 minutes to form a putty like consistency – the water content can be varied to suit the size of the crack.
