Murugappa Morgan Thermal Ceramics Ltd (MMTCL) is a joint venture between Morgan Advanced Materials, UK, and Carborundum Universal Ltd of the Murugappa Group. 

MMTCL provides customised solutions through design, supply and application capabilities in high temperature insulation and passive fire protection markets.

Ceramic Bulk Fibre, Blankets, Boards, Mastics and Engineered Fibre are manufactured at MMTCL Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. The plant MMTCL Gujarat (Moti Bhoyan) manufactures Pyrobloc Modules, Spun Blankets and Continuous Ceramic Fibre Paper. Both these plants are Superwool-compatible

Murugappa Morgan Thermal Ceramics provides the right Thermal Insulation products for clients’ needs across a temperature range of 350 DC to 1400 DC. 

The fire protection products provide high temperature fire resistance while also offering weight and cost savings along with a simpler installation process. 

The Thermal Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials makes a range of fibre, refractory and microporous high temperature insulation products used to reduce energy consumption in demanding industrial processes.

Description

Refractory blankets are available in roll form in a wide variety of densities and thicknesses. All blankets are made from long refractory fibers, binder free and are needled.
They have excellent strength before and after heating. All blankets have excellent chemical resistance unaffected by all chemicals except hydrofluoric acids and strong alkalies. .

KAOWOOL ceramic PAPER – 1260 & 1400

 

Description

Kaowool 1260 & 1400 Paper are manufactured from high purity refractory fibres and designed for high temperature insulation.
Advanced production techniques ensure uniform fibre distribution and close control of thickness and density. Kaowool Paper are produced from Alumina Silicate (Alumina Silicate Zirconia fibres in case of 1400 paper) fibres with the minimum addition of carefully selected bonds, which burn out cleanly in service.

HIGH STRENGTH CERAMIC FIBER BOARD

 

Description

High strength ceramic fiber board possesses high compressive and flexural strength along with good resistance to erosion from gas flow in comparison to normal Ceramic fiber boards.
High strength board is designed to meet the toughest knocks and pressure, maintaining its strength over a long productive life.
It has low shrinkage compared to other fiber products.

  • Rotary Kiln back up of Calcining and Dolomite Kilns
